Winterberry Specimen

Inspired by the pressed botanical plates in an old naturalist's library, this design treats Christmas red with a curator's restraint. A single branch of winterberry — scarlet berries clustered along fine bare stems — is studied against a pale ground, with its Latin name, Ilex verticillata, lettered quietly beneath. It's festive and intelligent all at once, the sort of print equally at home in a book-lined study or a serene living room.
